Davis Place, a nursing home in Danielson CT, is looking for a part time dietary aide to join their team.
Job duties of the Dietary Aide are but not limited to the following:
- Is responsible to prepare and oversee the service of nourishing and attractive meals based on each menu specific diet order
- Reviews menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared
- Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure quality and minimize waste
- Reviews menus and identifies necessary food items required to prepare therapeutic diets before preparing food
- Work with the facility’s Dietitian/Director of Food Services as necessary.
- Follow all food procedures in accordance with facility policy and/or direction.
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
- Prepare food, etc., in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as with our established policies and procedures.
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Schedule:
- 7a-3p
- Rotating weekends required
