Position Summary:
The Mission Coach invests in discipleship relationships with individuals, guiding them towards conviction for the Great Commission and activating them towards their role in God’s Kingdom. The Coach will cultivate and maintain relationships with a caseload of individuals, diligently and faithfully engaging them with relational and missional opportunities. Additionally, they will regularly follow up with short-term trip participants at East-West as assigned, inviting them into individual and small-group coaching opportunities. Coaching will include regular conversations, Bible study, small group facilitation, and personal coaching. The Coach will also collaborate on the development and facilitation of equipping opportunities, including ministry trainings, discipleship materials, and internship programs. This position is responsible for ensuring all leadership, mobilization, and communication clearly align with East-West’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Biblical Principles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Discovery & Discipleship: Engage in deep conversations with those connecting with East-West, helping them discover their unique calling and explore opportunities to serve. You will build intentional relationships that guide them through the foundational stages of their missional journey.
- Readiness & Resources: Thoughtfully assessing spiritual and practical readiness through personal coaching, while equipping individuals with the discipleship materials and ministry trainings needed to prepare them for their next steps in the ministry.
- Collaboration & Formation: Collaborating extensively with internal teams and leaders.
- Raise and maintain a network of support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years in recruitment, mentorship, or missions.
- Exceptional communication and organizational excellence
- Strong team player
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally 2-4 times per year.
- Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- A baptized believer of Jesus Christ
- Experienced in leading cross-cultural short-term missions teams
- Ability to raise personal support as well as develop and manage personal ministry budget
- Experienced in sharing his/her faith with a clear, concise gospel message
- Committed to continual learning of the local context and culture
