Location: Ranches Tennis Courts
Schedule: Part-time / Seasonal (flexible hours, mornings during the summer and evenings during the fall and spring)
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Tennis Instructor to support our tennis programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with athletes of all ages, has a passion for tennis, and is eager to help players develop their skills in a fun and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the head instructor in planning and leading tennis lessons.

Teach and demonstrate fundamental tennis skills, including strokes, footwork, and rules

Provide individualized feedback and encouragement to players

Help organize and set up courts, drills, and equipment before and after sessions

Adapt instruction to meet the needs of various age groups and skill levels

Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning atmosphere

Supervise participants to ensure safety and adherence to program guidelines

Assist with match play and scrimmages.

Track attendance and communicate effectively with staff, players, and parents

Maintain and organize equipment and assist with general facility upkeep
Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of tennis techniques and rules

Previous playing or coaching experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with children, teens, and adults

Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
