The Junior Project Manager supports the Production Manager and Project Manager by ensuring jobs are prepared correctly, materials are accurate, documentation is complete, and projects are properly closed out. This position serves as a bridge between the office, field crews, suppliers, and homeowners while developing the skills necessary to advance into a Project Manager role.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Job Preparation
- Review work orders prior to scheduled installation.
- Verify material orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Confirm deliveries arrive on time and match the work order.
- Pull permits as assigned.
- Assist with job setup and readiness.
Material Management
- Deliver additional materials to active job sites.
- Pick up materials from suppliers as needed.
- Coordinate dumpster deliveries and removals.
- Return unused materials after project completion.
- Document all material movements within JobNimbus.
Project Documentation
- Take all required progress photos throughout the project.
- Photograph decking, flashing, Ice & Water Shield, tear-off, finished work, and any unforeseen conditions.
- Upload photos into JobNimbus.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
Field Support
- Visit active job sites daily.
- Verify crews have necessary materials.
- Monitor project progress.
- Report issues immediately to the Project Manager.
- Ensure jobs remain organized and clean.
Job Close-Out
- Assist the Project Manager with final inspections.
- Complete project checklists.
- Identify punch list items.
- Ensure job site cleanup meets company standards.
- Obtain homeowner Certificate of Completion/Satisfaction when appropriate.
- Encourage homeowner Google reviews.
Customer Communication
- Keep homeowners informed of schedule changes.
- Answer routine customer questions.
- Communicate professionally with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Escalate major concerns to the Project Manager.
Administrative Support
- Update JobNimbus statuses.
- Document punch list items.
- Coordinate follow-up work.
- Assist Production Manager with scheduling updates.

Candidates Must Possess
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in construction, roofing, exterior remodeling, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, or field operations is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and installation specifications.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Google Workspace and JobNimbus (or the ability to quickly learn company software).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to accurately photograph and document job progress.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with homeowners, vendors, and coworkers.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders safely.
- Ability to access residential roofs with pitches up to 6/12, following all company safety requirements.
- Ability to enter attics and crawl spaces when necessary to inspect completed work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
