Overview
Join Rock N Roll Sushi restaurant, located at Hwy 280, as a Server and become a key player in delivering exceptional dining experiences! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food, beverages, including cocktails and wine, with professionalism and enthusiasm, upselling items to enhance the guest experience
- Manage sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and processing bills accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on sushi selections, spirits, wine pairings, and menu options to boost sales and guest satisfaction
- Support team members with food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in sushi or fine dining settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine service, and OpenTable reservations management is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures required for safe operations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with host/hostess experience or serving background beneficial
