Overview
We are seeking experienced Plumber Mechanics and Fire Sprinkler Fitters to assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Must have at least 1 year of plumbing experience, basic knowledge of building codes, and great communication skills.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to thread and properly run new black pipe
- Skilled in the use of all hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Must be experienced in new installations and new roughing
- Basic knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
- Knowledge of installing iron- black pipe, groove, copper, and cast-iron piping
- Effective communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- P2 and F2 Connecticut licenses (needed)
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience (Mechanic)
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic knowledge of building codes
- Hand tools
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
