J.E. Schenk & Associates, Inc. is seeking a full time Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team.
Applicants should have a current Property & Casualty Insurance license in good standing, a pleasant and friendly personality and maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success every day. Once onboarded & proven with office protocols, we offer a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Answer questions and concern regarding policy coverage, payment and billing clarification, claims filing, counseling and support.
- Make policy changes based upon client’s needs and subject to agency and company underwriting guidelines.
- Re-underwrite existing accounts to assist the agency in meeting established goals and guidelines.
- Make calls and correspond with policyholders and carriers using professional communication skills.
- Process payments.
Skills:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years working as a licensed agent in an insurance agency with notable customer service experience
- Working knowledge of auto & homeowners insurance products and other property/casualty personal lines policies is necessary. Knowledge of Commercial and Life products are a plus.
- Effective communication skills including written, verbal and listening as well as professional customer service skills are a must.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
