Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management systems, including handling cash drawers and performing 10 key typing operations
- Conduct retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and returns to ensure precise transactions
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial products and assisting with loan processing or collections when needed
- Maintain organized sales floors by restocking merchandise, managing inventory data entry, and ensuring product displays are attractive and accessible
- Handle customer inquiries about banking or financial services, providing clear information and directing them to appropriate resources
- Manage cash handling procedures diligently to ensure security and accuracy during all transactions
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or retail store environments with strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of banking or financial services, including loan collections and processing
- Proficiency in basic math, retail math, and data entry to support accurate transactions and record keeping
- Familiarity with financial software systems used for cash management and retail lending processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and explain financial products or services
- Ability to handle cash drawer operations confidently while maintaining security standards
- Strong organizational skills for managing inventory, processing cash transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Experience with cashiering duties such as processing cash transactions, balancing registers, and performing cash handling tasks
