Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Part-Time Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and related products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure the bar is fully equipped for service during shifts.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations; respond promptly to any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members across food service, catering, banquet events, and retail areas to deliver seamless service experiences.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to food safety standards and legal regulations.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus for engaging guests with expert recommendations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport quickly.
- Familiarity with retail math, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
