Responsibilities of the Adjunct English Instructor include, but not limited to, teaching varying schedules utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. You must include a copy of your transcripts and certifications along with your application to be considered for this position. This position will instruct face-to-face in the local prisons. Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.
Master's Degree in related discipline or master's degree with 18 graduate hours in related discipline. Must have a valid driver's license.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, especially at the community and technical college or secondary level.
This position could require teaching in both the State and Federal Correctional Institutions. This position will require teaching at the Cheraw, Dillon, and Marlboro Campuses.
