Position Title: Lead Generator
Department: Sales & Marketing
Position Summary
The Lead Generator is responsible for identifying and generating qualified sales opportunities
for residential and commercial water treatment solutions. This role serves as the first point of
contact with potential customers through events, retail locations, community outreach, referrals,
digital inquiries, and other lead-generation activities. The Lead Generator educates prospective
customers on water quality concerns and schedules appointments for Water Treatment
Specialists to conduct in-home or on-site consultations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Generate qualified leads through direct customer engagement.
? Educate potential customers on common water quality issues, including hard water,
chlorine, contaminants, staining, odor, and taste concerns.
? Schedule in-home water testing appointments and consultations for the sales team.
? Represent the company professionally at retail locations, home shows, community
events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
? Collect and accurately enter customer information into the company CRM system.
? Follow up with prospects as directed to confirm appointments and answer basic
questions.
? Build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
? Meet or exceed weekly and monthly lead-generation goals.
? Maintain knowledge of company products, services, promotions, and financing options.
? Assist with marketing campaigns and customer outreach initiatives.
? Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards at all times.
Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
? Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, marketing, or lead generation
preferred.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Comfortable approaching and engaging with new people.
? Strong organizational and time-management skills.
? Basic computer and data-entry proficiency.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally as needed.
