Job Summary
A-Plus Contracting is seeking an experienced Jet/Vac Truck Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will safely operate combination jet/vac trucks used for sewer cleaning, hydro excavation, utility maintenance, and underground infrastructure projects.
This position requires a safety-focused professional who is comfortable traveling to project sites and working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Jet/Vac combination trucks.
- Perform sewer line cleaning using high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Operate the vacuum system to remove debris, sludge, water, and other materials.
- Conduct hydro excavation and utility support activities as assigned.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate inspection logs and required documentation.
- Work alongside field crews to complete underground utility and infrastructure projects.
- Travel to job sites as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a Jet/Vac Truck or Combination Sewer Cleaner Truck.
- Valid CDL Class B or Class A driver's license.
- Tanker endorsement preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Clean driving record.
- Experience operating high-pressure jetting and vacuum systems.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel for projects.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
