Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CNC Swiss Setup Machinist to set up and operate our Citizen Cincom machines. You will be responsible for taking jobs from blueprint to first-article run, and ensuring smooth production runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set Up & Adjust: Complete setups on Citizen Swiss lathes, including guide bushings, collets, sub-spindles, bar feeders, and live tooling.
- Run & Edit: Load and edit G-code/M-code programs at the control. Adjust tool wear and offsets.
- Inspect: Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
- Troubleshoot: Resolve machining issues, adjust for tool wear, and manage chip control.
- Maintain: Perform basic daily machine PM and keep a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating Citizen Cincom Swiss machines.
- Swiss Skills: Solid understanding of sliding headstocks, guide bushing synchronization, and main/sub-spindle handoffs.
- Controls: Experience with Mitsubishi or Fanuc-based Citizen controls.
- Blueprints: Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
