Grove City County Market is looking for a Meat Department Clerk. The Meat Department Clerk will clean and prepare workstations and displays, answer questions and respond to customer requests. This position is 24-32 hours per week and will consist of early morning shifts, and weekends.
Meat Department Clerk Responsibilities:
- Follow approved procedures for receiving, weighing, and breaking down meat products
- Price and display product in cases as directed by the Department Manager.
- Providing responsive, exceptional service to Meat Department customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and responding to requests.
- Operate wrapper, scale, and other electronics.
- Assist in wrapping and labeling product.
- Updating displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to ensure new items and promotions are showcased.
- Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and floors, and confirming that tools are in working order.
- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
- Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.
