Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and reliable Human Resources Assistant to support onboarding and daily HR administrative tasks. This role is responsible for coordinating new hire onboarding, maintaining employee documentation, and ensuring compliance with hiring requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires and guide candidates through required steps.
- Conduct candidate interviews and assist with the hiring process.
- Complete I-9 verification and E-Verify.
- Coordinate drug and alcohol testing and medical exams when required.
- Set up employee profiles and assist with payroll onboarding through ADP.
- Maintain employee records, HR logs, and compliance documentation.
- Communicate with candidates regarding documentation, onboarding steps, and training schedules.
- Send reminders and follow-ups to ensure onboarding is completed on time.
- Provide general administrative support to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in HR support, onboarding coordination, recruiting, or administrative roles.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- ADP experience preferred.
Pay: $18.50 per hour
