About the Role
Antigua Deli, part of the Antigua Restaurant Group, is seeking a dependable and motivated Cashier/Baristato join our team at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced but fun environment, preparing fresh, made-to-order coffees and specialty drinks for busy professionals and courthouse visitors.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to order.
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, work areas, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Restock supplies, condiments, and merchandise as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and courthouse security guidelines.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in other areas of the deli as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience as a cashier or barista preferred
- Familiarity with food safety procedures and a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Some food service experience preferred
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
- Must be available Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Must be able to pass a background check (required by courthouse location) and be at least 18 years of age.
