Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role is essential in upholding the standards of cleanliness and hospitality that our establishment is known for. The Housekeeper will work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure all areas are well-kept and meet our high standards.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted and sanitized.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as necessary.
- Change bed linens and towels, restocking supplies in guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are cleaned and returned to service efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests during their stay.
- Uphold IHG standards
- Be able to lift 20+ pounds
- Be able to operate vacuum cleaner, work with chemicals
- Be able to bend and reach consecutively
- Be able to work on feet for 6 - 8 hours
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred, particularly in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
- Experience in custodial management or supervisory roles would be advantageous but not required.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

!!Will start at $14/hr if interested in Night Audit Friday and Saturdays 11pm-7am!!
