The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing materials, products, and processes to ensure they meet required quality standards and internal procedures, while guiding and mentoring Quality Trainers and Inspectors. This role involves supervising inspections, tests, and measurements on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements. The Quality Supervisor works closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Automotive Industry Experience: Experience in automotive parts production or quality roles.
Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage, train, and lead shop floor personnel effectively.
IATF 16949 Audit: Experience conducting internal audits OR participating in customer/external audits for IATF 16949.
Tools & Calibration: Experience operating manufacturing measurement tools and handling equipment calibration with high precision.
Problem Solving: Experience in defect resolution and quality stabilization on the production line.
Strong Sense of Urgency: Ability to react instantly and take ownership with a strong sense of urgency when defects occur to prevent production line downtime.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in tracking defect data, calibration records, and maintaining quality documentation.
Customer-Centric & Resilience: A customer-first mindset with the ability to remain calm and professional under high-pressure customer quality audits and demanding requirements.
Adherence to Standards: Strict commitment to following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and enforcing safety/quality disciplines on the floor.
· Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory quality standards.
· Oversee inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure all items meet specifications and quality standards.
· Guide quality technicians and inspectors to perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections, or perform these inspections directly when necessary.
· To maintain inspection accuracy, familiarize yourself with various measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, Spiral machines, viscosity meter) and provide training to team members on their proper use.
· Respond to production quality issues, equipment failures, or defects by executing immediate reporting and response procedures.
· Investigate and document initial causes of customer complaints or RMA issues on-site and report findings promptly to senior management.
· Review technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure proper inspection procedures are applied across all processes.
· Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformities promptly, and establish and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
· Manage rework and repair activities by coordinating with production teams to address issues effectively.
· Report the current status of the quality team through daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, and document improvement plans to ensure records are organized and systematically maintained.
· Record evaluations of quality technicians and inspectors, their completed training, and work attitudes to enable structured management and oversight of the team.
· Provide guidance and mentoring to quality technicians and inspectors to maintain inspection standards and enhance understanding of the quality system.
· Actively participate in root cause analysis, CAPA execution, and continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and prevent recurrence.
· Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
· Collaborate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
· Support process and engineering changes by implementing updated work instructions, process improvements, or new equipment on the shop floor and guiding inspection standards accordingly.
· High school diploma or equivalent (required).
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Attention to detail and a focus on quality management.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Must be willing to travel.
· 3~5years’ experience on quality management or related field.
· Additional technical certifications in quality control or inspection (preferred).
· Proficiency in the use of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Basic knowledge of quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA) is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
