Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Medical Office Lead to oversee daily operations of our offices in the Lake Oconee and Augusta area, and drive the successful implementation of office systems and workflows. This role requires a detail-oriented, Type A individual who thrives in structured environments, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and actively engages in community outreach and marketing efforts to support practice growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Systems Implementation & Management
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of office systems, workflows, and procedures
- Ensure efficient use of electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling systems, and billing processes
- Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve productivity and patient experience
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Supervise and support administrative and clinical support staff
- Provide training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to team members
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance work environment
- Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage
Operations & Organization
- Maintain a highly organized office environment with strong attention to detail
- Oversee patient flow, scheduling efficiency, and front-office operations
- Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships
- Track key performance indicators and report on office performance
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to grow patient volume
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, referral partners, and local businesses
- Represent the practice at community events and networking opportunities
- Support digital presence including reviews, social media, and outreach campaigns
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (leadership role preferred)
- Proven experience implementing or managing office systems and workflows
- Strong organizational skills with a detail-driven, Type A mindset
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EMR systems and medical office software
- Marketing or community outreach experience is a plus
