Gillmann Services, Inc. is now hiring Concrete Form Carpenters in the West Lafayette, IN area.
Full-time work with overtime opportunities.
Will be working on new commercial builds, previous experience on commercial construction
$26-28 / hr, paid weekly!
Job duties and tasks
- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
- Aluminum stud frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Lay out flooring, hanging drywall
Skills
- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
