Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Grand Haven Retirement, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents. Located in Eldridge, IA, this position is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of our senior community. NO WEEKENDS! DAYS ONLY! ON-CALL SHARED BY THREE PEOPLE!
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and assess residents' health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health management.
- Assisting with the scheduling of the Universal Workers.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Comply with all state regulations as they apply to assisted living certification.
- Comply with all the Program's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of Iowa.
- Strong knowledge of primary care practices and infection control measures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and basic medical procedures.
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
