Field Construction Project Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Construction Project Manager to oversee industrial construction and maintenance projects from start to finish. This role is hands-on in the field and requires strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to manage crews, schedules, and budgets in fast-paced industrial environments. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations for industrial projects (oil & gas, manufacturing, utilities, energy, etc.).
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Lead and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Conduct safety meetings, site inspections, and ensure OSHA and company safety compliance.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Track labor, materials, equipment, and project costs.
- Communicate project updates to clients, engineers, and management.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues to keep projects on schedule.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, change orders, and closeout documents.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing industrial field projects (required).
- Experience in heavy industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing (preferred).
- Strong understanding of field construction and maintenance processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 30
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications
- NCCER, API, or industry-specific credentials
- TWIC card (if applicable to project sites)
