Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems for efficient patient data management.
- Conduct clinical research and participate in clinical development projects.
- Oversee managed care processes and ensure adherence to NCQA standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes through effective utilization management.
- Supervise medical staff and provide leadership in clinical settings.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations related to medical practices.
- Engage in budgeting and resource allocation for departmental needs.
- Stay updated on advancements in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
- Proven experience in hospital settings or similar healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of managed care, clinical research methodologies, and healthcare management principles.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and familiarity with medical records management.
- Excellent leadership skills with prior supervising experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage projects related to clinical initiatives and patient care improvements.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, NCQA standards, and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
