Testimony Wine Bar is looking for a friendly, energetic and dependable Wine Bar Server to join our close-knit team. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys people, takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences and is excited to continue learning about wine.
At Testimony, hospitality is a team effort. We all wear multiple hats and work together to do whatever is needed—from serving wine and engaging with guests to cleaning, stocking, supporting the kitchen and preparing for events. No task is beneath any member of our team.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests warmly and create an engaging, approachable experience
- Guide guests through our wine selections, tasting flights, menu and retail bottle offerings
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide attentive table service
- Share wine knowledge in a way that is informative, comfortable and never intimidating
- Build relationships with members and regular guests
- Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
- Prepare the bar and guest areas for service
- Stock wine, glassware, service supplies and retail products
- Support the kitchen with food running, dishes, preparation and other needs when necessary
- Clean and maintain the bar, tables, cellar, patio and shared work areas
- Assist with wine tastings, live music, private parties, catering and special events
- Complete opening and closing duties thoroughly
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and step in wherever support is needed
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you are:
- Kind, friendly and naturally engaging
- Energetic and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of guests
- Knowledgeable about wine or genuinely enthusiastic about learning
- Organized and able to manage several priorities during a busy shift
- Reliable, punctual and consistent
- Attentive to details and committed to following through
- Comfortable working independently while remaining part of a collaborative team
- Willing to clean, stock, wash dishes and support the kitchen without hesitation
- Able to receive feedback and communicate respectfully
- Calm, positive and solutions-focused when things get busy
Previous serving, bartending, tasting-room or wine experience is preferred, but personality, dependability and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Our Culture
Testimony is built around community, education and approachable hospitality. We want every guest to feel welcomed, cared for and comfortable exploring wine.
Our team is friendly, hardworking and supportive. We value kindness, accountability and people who notice what needs to be done and jump in to help. This is not a workplace where employees stay inside narrowly defined roles. Everyone contributes to the guest experience and to the success of the team.
Schedule
This is a part-time position that will primarily include evenings, Fridays, weekends and special events. Availability during our busiest service periods is important. Hours may vary based on tastings, live music, wine dinners, private parties and seasonal business needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Current Oregon Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain one
- Current OLCC service permit, or ability to obtain one
- Ability to stand and move throughout the majority of a shift

- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Prior hospitality or customer-service experience preferred
