Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies that optimize cost, quality, service, and supply continuity.
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance management.
- Monitor commodity markets, pricing trends, and supply risks to inform sourcing decisions and cost forecasts.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive continuous improvement across cost, quality, and operational performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Culinary, Quality, Finance, and Product Development to support business initiatives, product launches, and menu execution.
- Provide strategic guidance on assigned categories, market dynamics, and sourcing opportunities.
- Drive supply chain optimization initiatives that improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and deliver value.
- Travel as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience with ownership of categories, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of category management, supplier performance, commercial negotiations, and procurement best practices.
- Experience analyzing commodity markets, pricing trends, and cost drivers; commodity hedging experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Restaurant, foodservice, or consumer products experience preferred.
- CPSM, CSCP, or similar certification preferred.
