Duties
- Perform comprehensive bike repairs and maintenance, including brake repair, suspension tuning, assembly, and general mechanical work using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct Bicyle maintenance tasks such as tire replacements, drivetrain adjustments, and component upgrades to optimize bike performance.
- Assist customers in selecting bikes, accessories, and gear by providing expert advice tailored to their cycling needs.
- Manage retail transactions accurately by applying retail math skills during sales processes.
- Handle heavy lifting of bikes and parts safely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Educate customers on product features, maintenance tips, and proper bike care to enhance their riding experience.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge of bicycles.
- Expertise in suspension systems, brake repair, assembly, and general maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, and other workshop equipment essential for bike repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
