Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. Duties
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the facility
- Perform thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees to ensure security compliance
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for entry and exit
- Respond promptly to security incidents or disturbances, employing conflict management techniques when necessary
- Operate security equipment such as Taser, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and CCTV cameras effectively
- Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when required for safety or logistical purposes
- Support loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and Taser use preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with performing background checks and conducting security screenings
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in surveillance and reporting

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
