Pay: $36.57–$56.68/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating Nuclear Medicine equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following established protocols.
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Explain procedures and provide compassionate patient care.
- Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation.
- Perform daily quality assurance and equipment safety checks.
- Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
- Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage supplies and maintain departmental records.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
- CT and/or PET experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
