A well-established, mission-driven organization is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its Human Resources team. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with leadership while owning recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, compliance, employee relations support, leave administration, and HR process improvements. You'll also have the opportunity to leverage technology and AI tools to improve HR operations and enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities
- Administer employee leave programs, accommodations, and related documentation while maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Support payroll processing by partnering with Finance on employee changes and leave updates
- Assist with benefits administration and employee HR inquiries
- Maintain organizational charts, HR documentation, and employee resources
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and new hire check-ins
- Analyze recruiting and HR metrics to identify trends and improve processes
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Utilize HR technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows and documentation
- Participate in HR projects and additional initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting
- Knowledge of leave administration, accommodations, FMLA, PFML, ADA, and employment law compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Experience with benefits administration and HR operations preferred
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience leveraging AI tools or HR technology to improve efficiency is a plus
