Properly Improper is a fast-growing gift company looking for an organized, creative, and motivated Jr. Marketing & Office Associate to join our team.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys marketing, social media, and working in a fast-paced small business where priorities shift and every day is different. We're looking for someone who communicates well, pays close attention to detail, stays organized, and isn't afraid to take care of business!
Responsibilities
- Create and edit content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and posting social media content
- Help create and send email marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Write on-brand copy for emails, social media, and marketing materials
- Assist with general office tasks and special projects
- Support inventory, fulfillment, and warehouse tasks as needed
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, not afraid to ask questions
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
- Proactive, dependable, and willing to learn
- Creative and interested in social media and digital marketing
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excited to grow with a small business
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience creating content for social media
- Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools preferred
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Shopify or Faire experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally
