Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee comprehensive maintenance activities across industrial environments, manage projects, and uphold safety standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and high/low voltage systems across the facility.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance repair procedures using schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical systems such as HVAC units, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and plumbing systems to identify issues proactively.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanical components efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety audits, maintaining safety documentation, and promoting best practices among team members.
- Lead project management efforts for facility upgrades or repairs by planning schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan while adhering to industry standards for industrial maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities using CMMS or other recordkeeping tools to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair including HVAC systems repair and plumbing system maintenance.
- Extensive electrical experience with familiarity in electrical systems troubleshooting—high voltage and low voltage—using appropriate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance repair procedures.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and experience conducting safety audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously while managing resources effectively.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and recordkeeping; knowledge of facilities management best practices is preferred.
- Excellent team management skills with a focus on leadership, communication in English, problem-solving abilities, and fostering a safety-first culture.
