Salt Lake Academy High School is a small charter school in Herriman, UT.
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Bus Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations, following established routes and schedules, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a bus or other large vehicle and a commitment to providing safe and reliable transportation services.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid CDL and bus endorsement
- Available for daily bus driving needs. Hours range from 3:00-5:00 PM Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-9:30am Monday-Thursday, 8:00am -1:00PM Friday, and an additional 5-6 hours for games on an average of 1-3 days each week.
Responsibilities:
- Shuttle the afternoon students from Salt Lake Academy campus to the Trax line.
- Transport extra curricular programs' staff, students, and athletes to and from organized competitions.
- Operate a bus safely and efficiently.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus.
- Ensure that passengers are safe and secure while on the bus.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage.
- Inspect the bus before each trip to ensure it is in good working order.
- Provide customer service to passengers.
