Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development: Generate insurance quotes, present customized policy solutions, and develop new business across auto, home, life, and commercial insurance products.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, respond to customer inquiries, conduct policy reviews, and identify opportunities to meet evolving insurance needs.
Marketing & Lead Generation: Participate in local marketing initiatives, follow up with prospective clients and warm leads, and develop a professional network to grow and maintain a strong book of business.
Professional Development & Mentorship: Work closely with an experienced Farmers agent to gain practical knowledge of insurance sales, agency operations, customer service, and business development while completing the University of Farmers training curriculum.
Career Advancement: Develop the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to pursue the opportunity to become an independent Farmers Insurance Agency Owner.
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain the required license prior to appointment.
Life & Health insurance license may be required for continued advancement and expanded product offerings.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a sales-focused environment.
Basic computer and technology proficiency.
Ability to successfully complete a standard criminal background check.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
