Your Impact & Responsibilities
As an integral part of the care team, you will manage a diverse musculoskeletal patient panel through:
- Advanced Clinical Autonomy: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose acute/chronic orthopedic conditions, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
- Hands-on Procedures: Perform joint injections, aspirations, splinting, casting, and advanced fracture care.
- Continuum of Care: Order/interpret MSK imaging and diagnostics, manage pre- and post-operative care, and champion patient education for optimal recovery.
- Surgical Integration: Depending on your interest and experience, assist in the OR to provide seamless continuity for your surgical patients.
What We Are Looking For
- NYS Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Active or eligible)
- National Board Certification
- Valid DEA license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Prior experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, or urgent care is highly preferred, but we will consider highly motivated NPs with strong clinical foundations in fracture care and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
