About the Role:
As an Occupational Therapist with Award Care at Saint Lucie, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents and make a positive impact on their daily lives. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' ability to perform daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
From $55 an hour - PRN
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to promote independence and improve functional abilities
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
Utilize specialized equipment and technology to support residents' rehabilitation and therapy goals
Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and best practices
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or related field
Current OT license in the state of Florida
Minimum 0 years of experience in occupational therapy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
