American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a TX or compact license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and night shift availability on a 13-week contract.

CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) in an acute care hospital setting

Patient ratio of 1:2

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Epic EMR used; experience preferred

13-week contract

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required, with 2 years preferred

Travel nursing experience preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
