Looking for a dentist to work on Tuesdays along with a Monday or a Friday
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality dental services including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages.
- Perform dental procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant restorations.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to manage patient records efficiently.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions to foster trust and understanding.
Skills
- Proficiency in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards.
- Experience with dental fabrication processes and dental office management systems like Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity to young patients’ needs.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy.
- Knowledge of anesthesia administration techniques suitable for various procedures including pediatric cases.
