Position Overview & Growth Opportunity
We are looking for a fantastic clinical assistant to join our team. Prior orthodontic experience is highly preferred for this role. This is currently a part-time position, but for the right candidate who demonstrates excellent skill, reliability, and alignment with our team culture, this role has strong potential to transition into a full-time position.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: Competitive and fully based on your skillset and prior orthodontic experience.
- Note: Specific hourly rates and benefits for the full-time track will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures (bonding, adjustments, debonding, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain clinical areas, instruments, and equipment in accordance with sterilization protocols.
- Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and 3D scans.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment progress.
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and reassuring environment for patients of all ages.
- Accurately maintain electronic patient charts and treatment records.

Qualifications & Skills
- Orthodontic or chairside dental assisting experience is strongly preferred.
- Active Virginia Dental Assisting credentials/X-ray certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new clinical software.
