You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while working alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure materials are stored properly to maximize space and comply with safety procedures.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and fully stocked in designated areas.
- Train and oversee the unloading of materials into the receiving area to ensure accurate staging, counting, and inspection.
- Receive and inspect all deliveries.
- Ensure all receiving slips are accurate and report all materials received.
- Resolve discrepancies with packing slips alongside the proper department.
- Plan and coordinate sales orders for company projects.
- Distribute materials and equipment to the appropriate projects.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries from vendors and jobsites.
- Plan efficient delivery and pickup routes to ensure timely service.
- Ensure delivery trucks are fully loaded and prepared for next-day deliveries.
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse property, yard, and outside perimeter.
- Train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Conduct weekly safety toolbox talks with the warehouse team.
- Ensure delivery trucks are clean, safe, and equipped with the proper lifting and loading tools.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred.
Physical Demands
- Requires the Ability to Communicate Effectively with your Team.
- Requires the Ability to Lift and Carry Up to 75 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time Position. Days and Hours of Work are Monday through Friday: 6:00 am – 5:00 pm; Saturdays as Needed by the Company.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
