Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seamless check-in and check-out processes using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Manage reservations efficiently, including modifications, cancellations, and special requests, utilizing hospitality reservation systems.
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, payments, and account adjustments while preparing detailed reports for management review.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues with proactive problem-solving skills, and maintaining positive client communication.
- Handle all phone communications with professionalism and courtesy, practicing excellent phone etiquette to assist guests and coordinate with other departments.
- Maintain comprehensive records of daily operations, including incident reports, shift logs, and security checks to ensure compliance with hotel emergency procedures.
- Support guest relations by offering local recommendations, responding to inquiries in multiple languages or bilingual communication when needed, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or equivalent hotel management software.
- Strong customer service skills paired with excellent problem-solving abilities to handle guest concerns efficiently.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest security at all times.
- Exceptional phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
- Previous night audit experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
