Would you like to join our distillery team? We seek a friendly, hard-working, detail-oriented, and coachable person with solid customer service skills to join our team as a *PART-TIME* Tasting Room Host. In this role, you will support our tasting room staff in creating a welcoming environment to present our craft spirits, cocktails, and merchandise collection.
We seek dependable candidates with strong communication, organization, & multitasking skills. No prior bartending skills are required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
JOB DUTIES
Tasting room preparation & closedown – Perform checklist of pre-opening & close down duties including, but not limited to, stocking, cleaning, and reviewing shift notes.
Shift support - re-stocking bar & merchandise as needed, bussing tables, and washing dishes.
Social host – Greet and converse with customers to create a welcoming environment & provide exceptional customer service.
Bartend – Prepare and serve craft cocktails to spec from a rotating menu of recipes.
Merchandise & Product assistance – In addition to craft cocktails & grain-to-glass spirits, we have a wonderful array of merch & mixers. In this role, you are expected to learn about our catalog of products & maintain accurate inventory to best assist customers with purchases.
Continuous cleaning – Maintain a clean area as customers come and go.
Knowledge Guide – Learn about our production process, products, product availability & recipes to answer customers' questions about our distillery, spirits, and cocktails.
Miscellaneous – Lifting loads, stocking, and following all regulations. Assist with events, workshops, & off-site events.
Schedule
+ 2 to 3 shifts per week
*Currently, help is needed 2:30pm - 10:30pmThursdays, Saturdays & Sundays*
Additional information
- Tips are pooled daily and shared among service staff as a ratio of hours worked and distributed through payroll bi-monthly.
- New staff must complete a 1-month training period. Training shifts are typically 4 hours long—no tips are earned during training shifts. The training wage is the hourly base wage of the position. The tasting room manager will assess performance at the close of this 1-month probationary period.

Eligibility Requirements
- 21+ years old.
- High School diploma or higher.
- Ability to provide references from current and former employers.
- Ability to provide documentation verifying US employment eligibility.
- Successful completion of a background check before beginning employment.
- Completion of Food Handler and Alaska TAP training.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
