- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and instructional design principles.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities, autism, ensuring inclusive classroom practices.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavioral management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and inform instruction. CT DOTS
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or special education environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and child welfare practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and implementing IEPs.
Pay: From $41,000.00 per year
