Swim Instructor - Scotch Plains
RWJ Fitness and Wellness Center at Scotch Plains is currently seeking a swim instructor to monitor the activities in the swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers. We are a rapidly growing company with nine clubs in NJ, one in PA, and one in NY!
Swim Instructor Duties can include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively teaching and communicating levels of progression to learn how to swim
- Being organized and diligent with time management and lesson schedule
- Desire to expand and grow in their swim knowledge and teaching techniques
- Great communication skills with clients and fellow staff members
Swim Instructor pay rate starts at $15.92 an hour or $20-25 if WSI certified.
Qualifications:
- To be a swim instructor you must be American Red Cross WSI certified.
- We also offer lifeguard courses to obtain these certifications

Experience:
- Swim Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)
