R&D Brewing is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for great beer.
The Production Operator will work directly with our brewing and operations teams. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Duties
Maintain a clean and organized working environment in the Packaging Department and throughout the brewery.
Operation of the Wild Goose canning line, including setup and changeovers
Ensure all kegs and cans have proper labels and dates
Fill and wash kegs
Perform seam checks on the canning line, as well as checking and monitoring DO levels of the final product
Maintain a system of quality checks and balances to ensure the utmost quality and stability of the product
Clean and maintain canning line machinery and associated equipment
Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and shipments
Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
High School degree or equivalent required.
Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal background check to qualify for an ABC permit.
Active NC issued drivers license
Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally and take direction from multiple people.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
Previous brewery expereience or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and be a strong team player.
Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work assigned hours and days as business needs dictate.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment
