Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a dependable Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping) to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, including daily and discharge cleaning

Change linens and prepare rooms for incoming patients

Clean and maintain clinical and non-clinical workspaces

Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

Remove trash, linens, and regulated medical waste safely

Stock cleaning supplies and maintain organized work areas

Follow infection control procedures, including cleaning isolation rooms

Support patient safety and quality standards

Participate in departmental training and quality improvement activities

Starting wage of $14.00 per hour based on experience

Consistent day shift schedule (Monday–Friday, early shift)

Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred (hospital experience a plus)
