Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Steam & Gas TFA/Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure projects within the steam and gas sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee large-scale construction initiatives, ensuring they are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. As a key leader, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects that support our operational excellence. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and technical schematics will drive project success from inception through completion.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of steam and gas infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 and other project management software to optimize resource allocation and timeline accuracy.
- Manage construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure clarity and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and regulatory compliance is maintained throughout all phases.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review construction plans and schematics, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Monitor project costs using HeavyBid or similar construction estimating tools to maintain budget control and cost management.
- Lead project teams by managing subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff to ensure seamless communication and task execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and quality audits to uphold construction standards.
- Ensure all work complies with construction regulations and contractual obligations while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects within the steam & gas turbine industrial sectors.
- Extensive background in turbine site management with a strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards.
- Experience in managing project budgets with HeavyBid or equivalent estimating software.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction plans development.
- Prior success leading multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced construction management environment.
- Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance requirements specific to heavy industrial facilities.
- Excellent time management skills coupled with effective project leadership capabilities to drive projects forward efficiently.
