We are looking for a dental hygienist to join our team, part time. We believe in a supportive and communicative environment. Off-street parking. Flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
Experience:
- Familiarity with dental assisting and medical imaging techniques
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and oral health
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in using dental software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
