Hardwood Flooring Technician
ShenValley Floors is looking for a Hardwood Flooring Technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and understands that hardwood flooring is both a trade and an art form.
We specialize in hardwood floor installation, sanding, refinishing, repairs, custom stain work, and restoration projects. We are seeking someone who pays attention to details, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a company that values quality over cutting corners.
Responsibilities
- Hardwood floor installation
- Sanding and refinishing hardwood floors
- Floor repairs and board replacement
- Custom stain application
- Finish application (water-based and oil-based systems)
- Site preparation and protection of customer homes
- Job site cleanup and equipment maintenance
Experience With The Following Is Preferred
- Drum or belt sanders
- Edgers
- Buffers
- Orbital sanders
- Hand scraping and detail sanding
- Sanding sequences and grit progression
- Stain matching
- Polyurethane and finish application
- Hardwood floor repairs
- Base shoe and trim installation
