The Rehabilitation Technician/Aide plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day therapy operations by assisting clinicians with patient support, completing clerical and administrative tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to physical, occupational and speech therapists and therapy assistants in a variety of clinical settings
- Performing clerical and administrative duties, including computer work, copying, filing, and faxing of orders and other documents
- Maintaining the cleanliness and general maintenance and organization of the therapy area and rehab equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient care, including skilled nursing or hospital settings preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), and data-entry
- Strong organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
