Opportunity Summary:
Four Pillars Lodging (FPL) is a growth-oriented hotel management company built on operational discipline, strong service standards, and a guest-first culture. We are seeking a Room Attendant (RA) who takes pride in cleanliness, consistency, and delivering a “guest ready” experience every day.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork directly impact guest satisfaction and hotel performance.
Position Summary:
The RA is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and maintaining public areas to established property standards. This role supports daily turnover needs by working efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and a professional guest experience. Responsibilities may include room cleaning, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with laundry as needed.
Responsibilities:
Guest Room & Public Area Cleaning
o Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards, including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and restocking supplies.
o Change linens and ensure rooms are clean, orderly, and “guest ready” within expected time and quality standards.
o Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public areas as assigned.
Efficiency & Quality Standards
o Meet expected “minutes-per-room” or productivity standards while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.
o Follow property checklists, brand expectations (as applicable), and required cleaning protocols.
Guest Interaction & Service Support
o Provide courteous, service-forward interaction with guests when encountered.
o Offer and communicate hotel amenities, products, and services when appropriate, supporting a positive guest experience and property revenue goals.
Teamwork & Communication
o Assist with laundry duties as needed, including handling, staging, and replenishing linens.
o Communicate maintenance needs and work orders to maintenance and/or management in a timely manner.
o Work collaboratively with the front desk and room attendant leadership to prioritize rooms and operational needs.
Safety, Security & Emergency Procedures
o Know and follow property emergency procedures and support safety and security standards for guests and associates.
o Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to training and policy.
Other Duties as Assigned
o Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, consistent with hotel operations and business needs.
Qualifications:
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
· Reliable attendance and ability to follow checklists, standards, and safety procedures.
· Professional communication and willingness to work as part of a team.
· Flexible work availability is required, inclusive of nights & weekends.
Physical Requirements:
· Repetitive stair climbing and occasional ladder use.
· Ability to kneel, squat, stand, sit, bend, and twist for extended periods.
· Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
